Tours

Got relatives in town? We’ve got the perfect outing! Come take a Public Tour, offered every day in June, July and August at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. There’s no need for reservations! Lasting approximately an hour, it’s a great way to get an overview of the Museum’s collections with a focus on the work of C.M. Russell. Tours are included with regular Museum admission and are led by a Museum Docent.

To schedule a tour, please contact Education Coordinator Kim Kapalka at (406) 727-8787 x347.

When are group tours available?

October - April: Tuesday - Saturday 10 - 5 p.m., Sunday 1 - 5 p.m.
Museum and Log Studio are open.

What’s a group? To qualify as a group...

Your group must contain at least 10 people (not including the tour operator and bus driver)

You must make reservations at least two weeks in advance with the Education and Public Programs Department. This enables us to discuss arrangements with you and identify programs and schedules that best meet your needs. Calling ahead also allows us to schedule your group around other visiting groups if necessary. If you do not call us in advance of your visit, your group will be charged the regular adult Museum admission fees.

What will it cost?

Group tours receive a discounted admission rate of $7 per person, with two complimentary admissions for the bus driver and tour operator.

What do I need to know before I call?

We’ll ask you these questions:

What are your first and second choices for dates and times?

How many people are in your group?

What would you like the focus of the tour to be?
